Asmitha Chahilha & Rakshitha Santosh Ramraj made it into the semi-finals with thrilling wins over their respective opponents in the Super 300 Korea Masters played at Asan, South Korea, on 7th August 2026.
Asmitha and Ramraj produce stunning performances against their respective opponents to reach the top four stage. Asmitha Chahilha registered her career's best win, stunning the top seed, Hina Akechi of Japan, in three thrilling games that went right down the wire. Akechi began the initial stages of the first game on a positive note, keeping Asmitha under trouble before Asmitha made a strong comeback to level scores at 7-7. The fight for each point continued before Akechi took a 11-9 lead at the break.

The men’s doubles pairing of Garaga & Prateek Roy lost in the quarterfinals to Man WC and Soh WY of Malaysia in two straight games. It was a disappointing outing, as the Indian pairing looked out of sorts against the Malaysian pairing.
