RVR Delhi Blue Bulls GC Unveil Official Jersey Ahead of AM Green IGPL Season 2

RVR Delhi Blue Bulls GC have officially begun their AM Green IGPL Season 2 campaign, unveiling their playing jersey at Qutab Golf Course in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The launch marked an important moment for the franchise, bringing together its playing group, leadership, and wider vision for growing golf in the capital.
The jersey was unveiled by Ganesh Sarnala, Director of RVR Projects Pvt Ltd, alongside Uttam Singh Mundy, CEO of AM Green IGPL. The complete Delhi Blue Bulls squad Shiv Kapur, Gaurav Ghei, Chiragh Kumar, and Aryan Roopa Anand appeared in the new colors for the first time.
Built around the franchise's signature blue, the jersey features the Blue Bulls crest and has been designed as a performance kit for tournament conditions. More than simply a playing uniform, the new colors represent the identity the franchise hopes to build with Delhi's golf community throughout the season.
A Squad Combining Experience and Youth
The Delhi Blue Bulls lineup brings together some of India's most recognizable golfing names with emerging talent.
Gaurav Ghei, a three-time Asian Tour winner, will take on a dual role as mentor and player. Alongside him is Shiv Kapur, the 2002 Asian Games gold medallist and a four-time winner in Asia. Kapur's presence gives the franchise an experienced campaigner who has already represented India successfully on the international stage. His transition into the team environment of the IGPL offers another dimension to a sport traditionally built around individual competition.
Chiragh Kumar and Aryan Roopa Anand complete the four-member squad, giving the Delhi franchise a blend of experience and younger energy as it enters the second season of the league. The senior players will also be involved in the league's Golf Growth Initiative, being conducted in collaboration with the Indian Golf Union, Women's Golf Association of India, PGA India, and The Golf Foundation.
The franchise's ambitions extend beyond competing for results. One of the key announcements surrounding the jersey launch was the introduction of a Junior Programme aimed at expanding access to golf among children in Delhi. The initiative will provide young golfers with access to the sport and professional coaching, with the broader objective of bringing more participants into the game at the grassroots level.
For a city with an established golfing culture, the program represents an attempt to make the sport more accessible to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to take it up. Kapur highlighted the importance of this community focus, stressing that the franchise wants to contribute to the development of the sport in Delhi rather than simply operate as a professional team.
The franchise is also backing wider community initiatives through Birdies for the Bulls, its social-impact program, along with a season-linked tree plantation drive in partnership with Greenpanel.
For RVR Projects, the jersey launch represents the point at which the franchise begins to take on a tangible identity. Ganesh Sarnala described the jersey as the moment when the franchise moves from an idea into a team, while emphasizing RVR's intention to build something lasting in Delhi. The organization has also placed considerable importance on bringing the league to Qutab Golf Course, allowing local fans to experience the team in its home environment.
That home connection could become particularly important as the IGPL develops its team-based format and looks to create stronger relationships between franchises and their respective cities. Uttam Singh Mundy echoed that sentiment, pointing to team identity as one of the elements that distinguishes the league from traditional golf competitions. With the second half of Season 2 approaching, the league wants teams to increasingly establish their own identities through their colors, players, and home venues.
For the Delhi Blue Bulls, the blue jersey is therefore more than a new kit. It is the visual representation of a franchise attempting to build a connection with the city.
That connection will get its biggest test later this month. Delhi will host the AM Green IGPL Invitational 2026, presented by RVR Delhi Blue Bulls GC, at Qutab Golf Course from September 29 to October 1. The event is one of nine competitions scheduled during the second half of the AM Green IGPL Season 2 calendar, which spans venues in the UAE and India.
The home leg gives the Blue Bulls an opportunity to compete in front of their local supporters while also showcasing the team's identity at the venue where the jersey itself was unveiled. It could also provide a platform for the franchise's broader initiatives to reach an audience beyond established golf followers.
The RVR Delhi Blue Bulls GC enter Season 2 with a clear combination of ambitions: compete at the highest level, establish a recognizable team identity, and contribute to the growth of golf in Delhi. The presence of Kapur and Ghei provides experience at the top level, while Kumar and Anand add to the competitive mix. Away from the course, the Junior Programme and community initiatives offer the franchise an opportunity to leave a longer-term footprint.
The jersey launch has now put the team officially into its new colors.
The next step comes on the course. With Qutab Golf Course preparing to host the Delhi leg from September 29, the Blue Bulls will look to turn their new identity into performances while giving Delhi's golfing community a team it can truly call its own.
