Karan Singh Wins Back-to-Back ITF M15 Titles in Bali, Extends Perfect Fortnight

Indian tennis player Karan Singh continued his impressive run on the ITF circuit by winning back-to-back singles titles at the ITF M15 tournaments held at the Bali Beach Country Club in Bali, Indonesia. 

The 23-year-old Roundglass Tennis Academy athlete defeated USA’s Chang in a closely fought final on Sunday to successfully defend the title he had won at the same venue a week earlier. Karan prevailed 7-6(5), 7-5 on the hard courts to complete a remarkable fortnight in Indonesia. The consecutive triumphs have earned him 30 ranking points and taken his career tally to five singles titles. He also has three doubles titles to his name.

The latest victory underlined not just Karan’s ability to win titles but also his consistency throughout the two-week stretch. He finished the fortnight with an extraordinary 10-0 win-loss record in matches and a perfect 20-0 record in sets, meaning he did not drop a single set across either championship-winning campaign.

The final against Chang, ranked ATP 1296, was closely contested from the beginning. Karan, the fifth seed, had to remain composed during the crucial moments of both sets, eventually securing victory in straight sets. The opening set went to a tiebreak, where Karan held his nerve to prevail 7-6(5). With the title within reach, the Indian maintained his focus in the second set and secured another tight 7-5 victory to complete his successful title defence.

The result capped a tournament in which Karan continued to demonstrate the form that had already taken him to the title the previous week. His route to the final included a quarterfinal victory over Hayden Jones, ranked ATP 1475. Karan produced a strong performance against the American, winning 7-5, 6-1 to book his place in the last four. The semifinal then produced an all-Indian battle, with Karan facing fourth seed and Roundglass Tennis Academy teammate Digvijay Pratap Singh, who is ranked ATP 557. Despite facing a higher-ranked opponent, Karan remained composed and secured a 6-4, 7-6(2) victory to reach another final.

Karan’s achievement becomes even more impressive when his results across both weeks are considered together. During his first title run at the same venue, he defeated three local challengers in succession. He began with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Gunawan Trismuwantara before overcoming Rafalentino Ali Da Costa 6-3, 6-2 and Nathan Anthony Barki 6-1, 6-4. The fifth-seeded Indian then faced Japan’s seventh seed Ryotaro Taguchi in the semifinal. Karan produced another straight-sets performance, winning 6-3, 6-3 to reach the championship match. 

In the final, he faced fifth seed Isaac Becroft of New Zealand. Karan once again kept his composure in a tight contest, winning 7-5, 7-6(3) to claim his first title of the fortnight. One week later, he returned to the same courts and produced another unbeaten run, ultimately defeating Chang in the final. Across the two title campaigns, Karan won all 10 of his matches and every one of the 20 sets he played. Such a run at the ITF M15 level provides a significant boost in confidence and ranking momentum.

The consecutive Bali titles are the latest highlights of what has been a productive 2026 season for Karan Singh. Just weeks before his singles success in Indonesia, Karan won a doubles title at the ITF M15 Astana tournament in Kazakhstan. In August, he partnered Russia’s Martin Borisiouk and defeated the local Kazakh combination of Danial Rakhmatullayev and Damir Zhalgasbay 6-3, 6-2 in the final.

That victory added another title to Karan’s growing collection and demonstrated his versatility across both singles and doubles. His run in Bali, however, stands out for the sheer consistency of his singles performances. Winning two titles at the same venue in consecutive weeks is a difficult feat, particularly while maintaining an unbeaten record and not surrendering a single set. For the Roundglass Tennis Academy athlete, the two titles also provide valuable ranking points and momentum as he continues his progression through the professional circuit.

At 23, Karan is entering an important phase of his career. The ability to string together tournament victories, particularly against seeded and higher-ranked opposition, will be crucial as he looks to make further progress in the ATP rankings. The Bali fortnight has certainly given him a strong platform. Five singles titles and three doubles crowns now form part of his professional record, while his latest achievement adds another impressive chapter to his 2026 campaign.

With confidence high and his consistency at an exceptional level, Karan Singh leaves Indonesia having delivered one of the most dominant two-week stretches of his career.
