6:25pm | Judo – Harsh Tokas to fight for bronze; Maan and Takhellambam exit

It was a mixed session for India in the judo repechage. Harsh Tokas defeated Peniamina Percival in the men's -81kg repechage, keeping his medal hopes alive and booking a place in the bronze medal bout.

However, Karanjit Singh Maan saw his campaign end after losing to Scotland's Scott Cusack in the men's -90kg repechage, while Inunganbi Takhellambam was beaten by England's Jemima Yeats-Brown in the women's -70kg repechage, ending her run as well.

6:00pm | Cycling – Indian duo exits men's 10km scratch race

India's Harshveer Singh Sekhon and Dinesh Kumar were both DNF (Did Not Finish) in the men's 10km scratch race, ending their campaigns in the qualifying round.

As a result, neither rider advances to the next round of the competition.

5:50pm | Judo – Maan and Takhellambam bow out in quarterfinals

India's Karanjit Singh Maan and Inunganbi Takhellambam saw their campaigns end in the quarterfinals of the men's -90kg and women's -70kg events respectively.

Maan went down to Canada's Guillaume Gaulin, who scored a Waza-ari before finishing the contest with an Ippon in 2:32. Earlier, Takhellambam was beaten by Canada's Charlie Thibault, who first earned a Yuko and then sealed the bout with an Ippon.

5:20pm | Para Athletics – India secures gold and silver in men's shot put F57

It was a 1-2 finish for India in the men's shot put F57 final as Soman Rana clinched the gold medal with a best throw of 13.40m, achieved on his second attempt.

Shubham Juyal produced a 13.28m effort on his final throw to secure the silver medal, while Soman was unable to improve on his leading mark in his remaining attempts—but it didn't matter, as his gold was already assured.

Cameroon's Cedric Idriss Lekezo Azamdzi completed the podium, taking bronze with a throw of 12.57m.

5:15pm | Judo – Unnati Sharma advances to the semifinals

India's Unnati Sharma continued her impressive run in the women's -63kg event, defeating Qona Christie of New Zealand in the quarterfinals to book her place in the semifinals.

The contest was tightly fought, with Christie looking to apply pressure on the ground. Unnati defended resolutely before turning the tide with a well-executed attack that earned her a Waza-ari. She then held firm through the closing moments to seal her second victory of the day and move within one win of a guaranteed medal.

4:45pm | Boxing – Jadumani Singh settles for silver in men's 55kg

India's Jadumani Singh Mandengbam claimed the silver medal in the men's 55kg category after going down to Australia's Jye Dixon in the final.

The opening round was a closely contested affair, with Jadumani edging ahead on a 3-2 split decision despite Dixon's sharp counter-punching. The Australian responded strongly in the second round, using his height and crisp jabs to earn a unanimous verdict, setting up a decisive final round.

Jadumani came out aggressively in the closing round, landing a few clean punches and pressing forward, but Dixon remained composed and finished strongly. The Australian swept the final round on all five judges' scorecards to secure the gold medal, while Jadumani finished with a well-earned silver for India.

4:35pm | Judo – Karanjit Singh Maan storms into quarterfinals

India's Karanjit Singh Maan advanced to the men's -90kg quarterfinals with a superb Ippon victory over Elliott Connolly of New Zealand in the Round of 16.

The contest was evenly poised for much of the bout, with both judokas receiving Shidos for non-combativity. With less than a minute remaining, Maan produced a perfectly executed Sumi Gaeshi (corner throw), throwing Connolly cleanly onto his back to earn an immediate Ippon and seal the win.

4:10pm | Judo – Unnati Sharma advances with dominant Ippon victory

India's Unnati Sharma stormed into the women's -63kg quarterfinals, defeating Lamulela Magagula of Eswatini by Ippon in the Round of 16.

Unnati took control early with a Waza-ari, before transitioning into a hold-down. She maintained the pin long enough to secure the Ippon, sealing a comfortable victory and booking her place in the next round.

4:05pm | Athletics – Double delight for India in men's triple jump

India celebrated a double podium finish in the men's triple jump, with Praveen Chithravel winning silver and Selva Prabhu Thirumaran taking bronze.

Praveen's 16.58m effort from the fourth round stood as his best mark of the competition, earning him his first Commonwealth Games medal after narrowly missing out in Birmingham 2022. Selva secured the bronze medal with a best jump of 16.52m, completing a memorable outing for the Indian contingent.

Jordan Scott of Jamaica claimed the gold medal with a winning leap of 16.72m. The result marks a significant improvement for India after winning one silver and two bronze medals in 2022, with the nation now adding two more podium finishes in Glasgow.

4:00pm | Boxing – Jaismine Lamboria strikes gold in women's 57kg

India's Jaismine Lamboria captured the women's 57kg gold medal, defeating defending champion Michaela Walsh of Northern Ireland by unanimous decision.

The opening round was a closely fought tactical battle, with Jaismine edging ahead on a 3-2 split. She then took complete control in the second round, using the centre of the ring effectively and forcing Walsh onto the front foot, earning all five judges' scorecards to build a commanding lead.

Despite Walsh's late push in the final round, Jaismine remained composed, landing clean jabs and maintaining her distance to seal the victory. The triumph upgrades her Birmingham 2022 bronze to Commonwealth Games gold, delivering India's second boxing gold medal of the day.

3:55pm | Athletics – Priyanka Goswami finishes fourth in 10,000m race walk

India's Priyanka Goswami narrowly missed out on a second consecutive Commonwealth Games medal in the women's 10,000m race walk, finishing fourth with a time of 44:13.80.

Australia completed a clean sweep of the podium, with Jemima Montag taking gold in a personal best 42:13.40, Elizabeth McMillen claiming silver in a season's best 42:39.87, and Rebecca Henderson securing bronze in 43:27.46.

3:45pm | Boxing – Gold for Preeti Pawar!

India's Preeti Pawar clinched the women's 54kg gold medal with a commanding 5-0 unanimous decision over Canada's Scarlett Delgado.

After weathering an aggressive start from Delgado, Preeti quickly found her rhythm to sweep the opening round on all five judges' scorecards. She raised the tempo in the second, landing a series of crisp combinations that forced a standing count on the Canadian, again taking the round unanimously.

Delgado searched for a way back in the final round, targeting the body, but Preeti's sharp footwork and clean counter-punching kept her firmly in control. The judges unanimously awarded the bout to the Indian, handing Preeti Pawar India's first gold medal of the day and converting her guaranteed boxing medal into a Commonwealth Games title.

3:39pm | Boxing – Preeti Pawar tightens grip on final

India's Preeti Pawar took complete control in the second round against Scarlett Delgado.

With Delgado needing a strong response, Preeti stepped up the intensity, landing clean combinations with impressive consistency. Her right hand proved particularly effective, and a dominant spell forced the referee to issue a standing count to Delgado.

The judges once again scored the round 5-0 in Preeti's favour, leaving the Indian just one round away from the Commonwealth Games gold medal.

3:35pm | Boxing – Preeti Pawar takes opening round

India's Preeti Pawar made a composed start against Scarlett Delgado in their bout.

Delgado came out aggressively with a few clean punches, but Preeti stayed patient, gradually finding her range and landing several solid combinations midway through the round. Both boxers finished cautiously, but the judges were unanimous in their assessment, awarding the opening round to Preeti 5-0.

3:34pm | Athletics – Praveen Chithravel climbs to silver medal position

India's Praveen Chithravel continued his impressive run in the men's triple jump final, producing a 16.58m effort on his fourth attempt to move into second place.

At the top, Jamaica's Jaydon Scott extended his lead with a 16.72m jump. Meanwhile, India's Selva Prabhu Thirumaran has slipped out of the medal positions and is currently eighth with a best of 16.17m.

3:25pm | Athletics – Ravina Gayakwad disqualified; Priyanka fourth at halfway mark

India's Ravina Gayakwad has been disqualified from the women's 10,000m race walk final after receiving three red cards, bringing her campaign to an unfortunate end.

At the 5,000m halfway mark, Priyanka Goswami is running in fourth place, still outside the medal positions. The Olympian has also received one red card but remains in contention as the race enters its decisive phase.

3:15pm | Track Cycling – Indian trio bows out in men's sprint qualification.

India's Rojit Singh Yanglem, Ronaldo Singh Laitonjam, and David Beckham Elkatohchoongo have been eliminated in the men's sprint qualification.

Rojit finished 22nd, Ronaldo placed 24th, and David Beckham ended 25th in the 29-rider field. With only the top 16 advancing to the knockout rounds, the Indian trio's campaign comes to an end.

3:05pm | Athletics – Selva Prabhu moves into medal contention

India's Selva Prabhu Thirumaran improved on his second attempt in the men's triple jump final, recording 16.17m to climb into third place.

Meanwhile, Praveen Chithravel could not better his opening mark, managing 15.64m on his second attempt. His 16.05m from the first round remains his best, leaving him in fifth place after two rounds.

3:02pm | Athletics – Priyanka Goswami and Ravina Gayakwad begin race walk final

India's Priyanka Goswami and Ravina Gayakwad are in action in the women's 10,000m race walk final.

Priyanka created history by becoming the first Indian woman to win a Commonwealth Games medal in this event, claiming silver at Birmingham 2022. She returns looking to add another podium finish, although the challenge is stiff with a strong Australian contingent in the field. Ravina, who defeated Priyanka at the 2025 Federation Cup, will also be aiming for a breakthrough performance. As expected, the field has started at a measured pace with the leading pack staying together in the early stages of the race.

3:00pm | Para Athletics – R. Shanmugam finishes seventh in men's 1500m T54 final

India's R. Shanmugam finished seventh in the men's 1500m T54 final, clocking a season's best of 3:23.59.

England dominated the event, with Nathan Maguire taking gold in 3:17.65, followed by compatriot David Sidbury for silver in 3:18.31. Australia's Sam Rizzo claimed the bronze medal with a time of 3:18.61.

2:55pm | Athletics – Indians make steady start in triple jump final

India's Selva Prabhu Thirumaran opened his men's triple jump final with a 15.87m effort, placing fifth among the first six athletes to register a mark. Meanwhile, Praveen Chithravel began with a 16.05m jump, also sitting fourth in the standings after the opening round as the competition continues.

2:52pm | Track Cycling – Indian trio slips down the sprint qualification standings

As more riders completed their runs in the men's sprint qualification, Rojit Singh Yanglem slipped to third after the first eight cyclists, while Ronaldo Singh Laitonjam moved into fourth, trailing the leader by 0.616 seconds.

David Beckham Elkatohchoongo then completed his ride in 10.488 seconds, the slowest among the three Indians. After 12 riders had finished, Rojit and Ronaldo had dropped to sixth and seventh respectively, with David Beckham in eighth.

2:47pm | Track Cycling – Strong early ride from Rojit Singh in sprint qualification

India's Rojit Singh Yanglem has made an impressive start in the men's sprint qualification, clocking 10.297 seconds to go fastest among the first five riders to set a time.

With David Beckham Elkatohchoongo and Ronaldo Singh Laitonjam also in action, and many cyclists still to ride, the standings are expected to change as the qualification session progresses.

2:45pm | Athletics – India eye medals in men's triple jump final

India will have two finalists in the men's triple jump, with Praveen Chithravel and Selva Prabhu Thirumaran set to challenge for the podium.

Praveen Chithravel enters the final with the best personal best (17.37m) and best season's best (17.08m) in the field, making him one of the favourites for gold. Selva Prabhu Thirumaran also comes in with impressive credentials, boasting a 17.05m personal best and season's best, giving India a strong chance of winning multiple medals.

2:40pm | Para Athletics – India's medal hopes in men's shot put F57

India will be represented by S. Juyal and S. Rana in the men's shot put F57 final.

The Indian duo enters the competition with the two best personal bests in the field. S. Rana boasts the leading PB of 15.17m, while S. Juyal follows with 14.86m, making them strong contenders for the medals.
