Ridhima Dilawari Extends Lead at Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour Kolar Leg

Three-time winner this season Ridhima Dilawari continued her impressive run on the Hero Women's Pro Golf Tour 2026, extending her lead to two strokes after the second round of the tournament's tenth leg at the Zion Hills Golf County in Kolar.
Despite suffering a costly double bogey on the penultimate hole, Ridhima displayed remarkable composure by responding with a birdie on the closing hole to sign for a one-under-par 71. Combined with her opening-round 68, she sits atop the leaderboard at five-under-par 139, placing herself in a strong position heading into the final round.
With just 18 holes remaining, the experienced golfer is well placed to chase her fourth title of the season, further strengthening her dominance on the domestic circuit.
Ridhima's second-round performance showcased both her attacking ability and resilience. Starting the day with a one-shot overnight lead, she looked in complete control for much of the round, carding five birdies while limiting mistakes through the opening 16 holes. However, a double bogey on the par-17th threatened to undo her good work and significantly reduce her lead over the chasing pack.
Instead of allowing the setback to affect her momentum, Ridhima responded in champion's fashion by producing a birdie on the final hole. That closing birdie proved crucial, allowing her to maintain a healthy two-shot cushion going into the deciding round. Such composure under pressure has become a hallmark of Ridhima's season, during which she has already lifted three Hero Women's Pro Golf Tour trophies.
While Ridhima remains the player to beat, Amandeep Drall and Vidhatri Urs continue to keep the pressure on. Both golfers carded even-par 72 in the second round after opening with rounds of 69, leaving them tied for second place at three-under-par 141. Neither player produced a spectacular round, but both displayed consistency that keeps them firmly in contention heading into the tournament's final day.
With only two strokes separating them from the leader, an early charge in the third round could quickly change the complexion of the championship.
Their experience on the domestic circuit also means they are more than capable of capitalising if Ridhima falters.
Vani Kapoor Slips After Costly Errors
Former Order of Merit champion Vani Kapoor endured a frustrating second round that saw her lose ground on the leaders. After beginning the tournament strongly, Vani struggled with consistency and carded one-over-par 73, dropping to sole fourth. Her scorecard featured four bogeys, including back-to-back dropped shots on the eighth and ninth holes that disrupted her momentum.
Although she remains within touching distance of the podium positions, Vani will need an exceptional final round if she hopes to challenge for the title.
One of the day's most encouraging performances came from young golfer Saanvi Somu, who has recently gained valuable experience competing on the Ladies Access Tour in Europe. Saanvi made a blistering start to her second round by picking up four birdies in her opening six holes, briefly emerging as one of the biggest movers on the leaderboard.
However, she was unable to sustain that momentum over the remaining holes and eventually settled for a 73. With rounds of 71 and 73, she enters the final day at even-par 144, still capable of securing another strong finish as she continues her development on the professional circuit.
Several of India's emerging golfers remain in the top ten after two rounds. Kashika Misra occupies sixth place after rounds of 72 and 73, while Mannat Brar is seventh following scores of 73 and 74. Riya Jadon sits eighth after posting rounds of 73 and 75.
A group of five players share ninth place at five-over-par 149:
Ananya Datar (72-77)
Jasmine Shekar (74-75)
Anvvi Dahiya (76-73)
Karishma Govind (76-73)
Anvitha Narender (78-71)
Among them, both Anvvi Dahiya and Anvitha Narender produced impressive recoveries after difficult opening rounds, climbing the leaderboard with under-par second rounds.
Playing at her home course, Ananti Vivek emerged as the leading amateur after rounds of 74 and 76. She shares that distinction with Heena Kang and Shreshta Shukla, with all three golfers sitting at six-over-par 150 after two rounds. Competing against experienced professionals provides valuable exposure for the amateur trio, particularly at a venue where course knowledge can play an important role.
Following the completion of the second round, the cut was established at 11-over-par 155, with 34 players progressing to the final round. Several established names failed to survive the cut, including Seher Atwal, Shweta Mansingh, and Durga Nittur, bringing an early end to their campaigns. The reduced field sets up an intriguing final day, with the title race expected to centre around the leading quartet.
With a two-shot advantage and three victories already this season, Ridhima Dilawari heads into the final round as the favourite to capture another Hero Women's Pro Golf Tour title. However, experienced challengers Amandeep Drall and Vidhatri Urs remain firmly within striking distance, ensuring there will be little room for error. If Ridhima can replicate the consistency she has displayed throughout the season while avoiding the costly mistakes that briefly threatened her lead in the second round, she will be well placed to lift her fourth trophy of 2026.
The final round in Kolar promises an exciting finish as some of India's leading women golfers battle for honours in the tenth leg of the Hero Women's Pro Golf Tour.
