Ridhima Dilawari Wins 12th Leg of WPG Tour as Pranavi Urs Climbs at Swiss Ladies Open

Ridhima Dilawari produced another composed performance on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour to win the 12th Leg of the 2026 season, holding off a strong challenge from Mannat Brar at Prestige Golfshire in Bengaluru.

The victory was Dilawari’s fourth title of the season and further underlined her position as one of the leading players on the Indian domestic women’s golf circuit. The experienced golfer carded a four-under 68 in the final round to finish at 10-under 206, one shot ahead of Brar.

The result also completed a run of three consecutive under-par rounds for Dilawari, who opened the tournament with a 67 before following it with a 71 in the second round. Brar, meanwhile, produced the lowest round of the week but narrowly missed out on the title.

Dilawari entered the final round with the opportunity to add another trophy to an already impressive 2026 campaign. Her 68 was not the lowest score of the day, but it proved sufficient because of the consistency she maintained across the three rounds. The four-under card took her total to 10-under 206 and ensured she remained ahead of Brar, who surged up the leaderboard with a spectacular 66.

Brar's final-round card featured seven birdies against just one bogey, giving her a seven-under round and a final total of nine-under 207. That put her within one shot of Dilawari and ensured the winner had to maintain her composure through the closing stages. Ultimately, Dilawari's ability to protect her advantage proved decisive.

Fourth title of a breakthrough season

The Bengaluru victory adds to what has already been a highly successful season for Dilawari. Her previous three wins came at Leg 2 at Kalhaar Blues & Greens, Leg 4 at Poona Golf Club and Leg 6 at Jaypee Wishtown, Noida. She has also finished runner-up twice during the 2026 season, highlighting the consistency that has accompanied her four victories.

The 12th leg therefore represents more than another title. It reinforces a pattern of repeated high finishes and demonstrates Dilawari's ability to convert strong tournament positions into victories. Her experience also proved valuable against a younger player in Brar, particularly when the latter produced such an aggressive final round.

Brar's challenge was one of the major stories of the final day. The seven-birdie performance was the best individual round of the week, and her ability to attack the course allowed her to close the gap substantially. With just one bogey on her card, Brar finished with a seven-under 66 and a tournament total of nine-under 207.

Had she been able to find a few more shots earlier in the tournament, the outcome could have been different. Instead, her final-round surge left her one shot short of the champion. The performance nevertheless provides significant encouragement and demonstrates Brar's ability to produce a low score when under pressure.

Pranavi Urs moves up at the Swiss Ladies Open.

While Dilawari was securing another domestic title, Pranavi Urs was making progress at the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open in Holzhäusern. Urs began the second round strongly and moved upwards through the leaderboard during the opening nine holes. After shooting a one-under 70 in the first round, she was one-under through nine holes in the second round and two-under through 27 holes overall. At that stage, she had moved to tied 24th, although the second round was still in progress.

Her second-round start included birdies on the third and fifth holes before a bogey on the ninth. The performance represented an improvement from her opening round and kept Urs in a position to challenge for a higher finish as the tournament progressed.

The Swiss Ladies Open produced a more difficult day for India's other competitors. Tvesa Malik, who finished runner-up at the tournament in 2024, was even par through three holes of her second round and stood at tied 68th at that stage. Diksha Dagar faced a tougher challenge. She was four-over through six holes in the second round after opening with a 71, leaving her four-over for the tournament and in danger of missing the cut.

With the second round still underway, both players had an opportunity to improve their positions, but the margin for error was becoming increasingly small. For Urs, the immediate objective was different: build on her positive start and continue climbing the leaderboard.

The two events provided a snapshot of the depth of Indian women's golf. In Bengaluru, Dilawari converted another strong campaign into a title, adding a fourth trophy to her 2026 season and showing the consistency required to dominate a domestic tour.

In Switzerland, Urs was fighting to establish herself higher on an international leaderboard, while Malik and Dagar faced the challenge of making the cut. For Dilawari, the 12th Leg victory is another marker of an outstanding season. For Brar, the near miss could provide confidence after producing the week's best round.
