9:30pm | Protishta Leads in Vault Qualification

With a score of 13.025, the Indian gymnast leads the pack, offcourse the Subdivision 4 is yet to start but 13.025 is a good score.

9:15pm | Artistic Gymnastics: Protistha slips down on Uneven Bars

After topping the Vault standings, Protistha Samanta moved to the Uneven Bars and completed her routine cleanly. She received an execution score of 5.400 for a total of 8.500, placing her 24th on the apparatus.

Artistic Gymnastics: Eshitaa finishes 20th on Uneven Bars Eshitaa Rewale landed her routine without any major errors and was awarded a total score of 9.550 (6.350 execution), moving into 20th place on the Uneven Bars. Artistic Gymnastics: Nishka posts 9.350 on Uneven Bars

Nishka Agarwal earned an execution score of 7.650 to finish with a total of 9.350, placing her 21st in the Uneven Bars standings.

9:00pm | Artistic Gymnastics: India complete first rotation on vault

Three of India's four gymnasts have finished their routines on the vault in the Women's Team Final qualification. Pranati Nayak posted the best Indian average with 12.575, followed by Eshitaa Rewale on 11.725 and Nishka Agarwal on 11.075. Pranati's campaign is limited to the vault, and she will not compete on the remaining apparatus. In the team event, only the best three scores on each apparatus contribute to India's overall total.

8:45pm | Gymnastics: Indian quartet begins vault qualification

India's women's gymnastics team is in action in Subdivision 3, with Pranati Nayak, Nishka Agarwal, Eshitaa Rewale, and Protistha Samanta competing in the vault qualification. Each gymnast will perform two vaults, with the top eight advancing to the individual vault final.

After the early rotations, India is well in the mix. Protistha Samanta leads the standings with 13.025, while Pranati Nayak sits fifth on 12.575. Eshitaa Rewale currently occupies the eighth and final qualifying spot.

8:40pm | Lawn Bowls: Putul Sonowal suffers first defeat at CWG 2026

Putul Sonowal's unbeaten run at his debut Commonwealth Games has come to an end after a 2-0 defeat to Malaysia's Izzat Dzulkeple. Dzulkeple maintained his perfect record in the group, winning 8-4, 9-8 to register his third consecutive victory.

Putul will look to bounce back when he takes on Shaun Parnis from Malta on Sunday at 7:15 p.m. IST.

8:20pm | Lawn Bowls: Putul narrows the deficit

Putul Sonowal is right back in the contest. The Indian claimed two points in the fourth end, cutting into the deficit and keeping the pressure on Izzat Dzulkeple.

With three ends remaining, the Malaysian still holds a slender 5-4 advantage.

8:00pm | Lawn Bowls: Putul concedes the opening set

Putul Sonowal is up against it after losing the first set 8-4 to Malaysia's Izzat Dzulkeple.

The decisive moment came in the sixth end, where Dzulkeple dominated to score four points, stretching the lead to 8-3 and putting the set beyond Putul's reach. The Indian managed one more point, but it wasn't enough to prevent Malaysia from taking the opening set.

7:50pm | Lawn Bowls: Putul begins the fightback

Putul got on the board in the fourth end, picking up a single point to trim the deficit. However, Dzulkeple remained in control with a 4-1 lead and three ends still to play in the opening set. The momentum then shifted in India's favour. Putul produced an excellent fifth end, collecting two points to close the gap to 4-3.

With just two ends remaining in the first set, the comeback is well and truly on.

7:45pm | Lawn Bowls: Malaysia strike first in Men's Singles

Malaysia's Dzulkeple has drawn first blood. His opening bowl clipped the jack, shifting it away from Putul's well-placed delivery and swinging the advantage in his favour.

The Malaysian takes the opening end to move 1-0 ahead.

A reminder that the Men's Singles format is played over seven ends per set.

5:10pm | 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball: India suffer opening defeat against Wales

India's women's 3x3 wheelchair basketball team endured a tough start to its campaign, going down 16-1 to Wales in their pool B opener. Wales controlled the contest from start to finish, while India's lone point came from a successful one-point shot, their only conversion from 12 attempts. India will now look to bounce back in their remaining Pool B fixtures against Scotland and Nigeria.

5:00pm | Lawn Bowls: India seal third straight win in Women's Pairs

Rupa Rani Tirkey and Pinki held their nerve to defeat Tonga's Paris Baker and Milika Nathan in a thrilling Section B contest.

After taking Set 1 (5-2), the Indian pair conceded Set 2 (4-6), forcing a one-end tie-break. They produced a flawless finish, winning the tie-break 2-0 to seal the match and maintain their unbeaten record with three wins from three in the group stage.

4:55pm | Lawn Bowls Update

Tonga responded by taking the second set, but India ensured the contest stayed alive with a strong finish. Rupa Rani Tirkey and Pinki picked up two points in the fifth end, giving them four points across the final two ends of the set.

The match will now be decided by a one-end tie-breaker. India could have a slight advantage, with the final bowl of the tie-breaker in their hands.

4:50pm | Swimming Update

India's Dhakshan Shashikumar and Aryan Nehra bowed out in the men's 400m freestyle after finishing 15th and 16th, respectively, in the heats. Dhakshan clocked 3:58.09s, while Aryan finished in 4:00.26s. Neither swimmer progressed to tonight's final after placing outside the top qualifiers among the 27 competitors.

4:35pm | Lawn Bowls Update

Rupa Rani Tirkey and Pinki have taken the early advantage, claiming the opening set 5-2 against Tonga's Paris Baker and Milika Nathan in their Women's Pairs Section B clash.

4:30pm | Boxing: Sachin advances to the Round of 16!

Sachin held his nerve despite a spirited finish from the Canadian, sealing a 4-1 split-decision victory to book his place in the Round of 16. The Canadian edged the final round on three of the five scorecards, but Sachin's work over the first two rounds proved decisive. Four judges scored the bout in the Indian's favour (29-28, 30-27, 29-28, 29-28), while the fifth judge awarded it to the Canadian by 29-28.

Sachin will next take on England's William Hewitt on Monday at 4:45 p.m. IST, with a place in the quarterfinals at stake.

4:10pm | Boxing: Sachin edges a closely fought opening round

It's a tightly contested start, with the judges split after the opening round. Three judges scored it 10-9 in Sachin's favour, while the remaining two judges awarded the round 10-9 to the Canadian opponent.

4:05pm | Sachin in Action Now in Boxing. He is up against the boxer from Canada. He is a decorated national team member who won a bronze medal at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games 

4:00pm | Tonga made the brighter start to the contest, claiming the first end to take a 1-0 lead in Set 1.

After Rupa Rani Tirkey completed her three bowls, Paris Baker had put Tonga in a commanding position with two bowls lying close to the jack. India then looked to Pinki to turn things around.

Pinki's opening delivery carried too much weight and rolled into the ditch, but she responded well with her second bowl to dislodge one of Tonga's counting shots. Despite the improvement, Tonga held on to take the end and move ahead 1-0.

3:45pm | Lawn Bowls: India back in action in Women's Pairs

India's Rupa Rani Tirkey and Pinki are on the green once again as they take on Paris Baker and Milika Nathan of Tonga in their Section B Women's Pairs clash.

The Indian duo heads into the contest in confident form, having won both of their opening matches.
